WASA completes work at 6th Road Flyover: Dy MD

RAWALPINDI – Deputy Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Muhammad Akram Soban, said that civic body has completed all the work at 6th Road Flyover pertaining to WASA in the given timeframe.

The Water Supply line of 24 inches diameter with length of 700 feet was laid on 24 January 2013 within shortest period of 4 days and sewerage line was completed on 15 February 2013 except 200 feet length due to non-excess to the site by Provincial Highway Department (PHD), which was also completed by the end of February 2013.

These facts have been conveyed time and again to PHD and district administration in writing but PHD continuously shifting their responsibilities to other service departments. He further told that due to some problems PHD failed to complete at grade road (service road) and road drainage system despite the inauguration of Flyover on 10th January 2013.Source: http://www.nation.com.pk/pakistan-news-newspaper-daily-english-online/islamabad/13-Mar-2013/wasa-completes-work-at-6th-road-flyover-dy-md
