CDA seals four agro-farms

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday sealed another four agro farms for violating CDA bylaws. CDA had issued notices to all the allottees/owners of the agro farming scheme who had enhanced the covered area beyond the allowed limits. Some agro farms were under nonconforming use and were holding different activities in violation of the CDA bylaws. The plots were being used as stores of engineering and catering material, juice factories and offices, which tantamount to violation of CDA rules. The authority had issued notice to the violators and warned them through newspapers to comply with CDA rules. The CDA directed the allottees/owners to ensure that the use of plots should be strictly in line with the terms of allotment letter. staff report
