CDA okays Garden Avenue extension

ISLAMABAD  – The Capital Development Authority (CDA), in order to link Seventh Avenue with Benazir Bhutto Road (Murree Road), has approved extension of Garden Avenue.

Moreover, applications have been sought for pre-qualification of construction firms of the project by October 26.

Chairman CDA, Farkhand Iqbal has directed Member Engineering, Sanaullah, to immediately commence work on the project and should be completed within one year. He assured timely availability of the funds for the project.

Umer Saghir Rana was appointed project engineer and PC-1 of project has already been approved.

The project would be constructed at the cost of Rs500 million and engineers believe that completion of the project would ease traffic load on Murree road, Kashmir Highway and Islamabad Highway.Source:
