Timely repair of street lights demanded

Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) still has not repaired the streetlights in different areas of the federal capital that were damaged by the demonstrators in the protests against the American blasphemous film.

Due to the negligence of the civic authority, police picket at Faizabad sink in darkness and the road users have to face problems in crossing the barriers.

In the protests against the anti-Islam movie during the last few days, especially on Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasul (PBUH), the enraged demonstrators broke streetlights, besides damaging police pickets.
