CDA to launch new sectors

Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch two new residential sectors — C-15 and C-16 — on priority basis and the civic body’s revenue team has commenced a survey for compensation to affectees.

However, land mafia was reportedly active for inclusion of their names for compensation by constructing so-called structures.

Sources said that there is a clash between CDA administration and affectees over the method of compensation for built up property.

CDA has acquired both the sectors under land sharing policy, under which four kanal would be compensated with one kanal. Moreover, foreigner claiming 1000 covered square foot area would be given residential plot. —INPSource:
