LAHORE: International Energy, Gas, Oil, and Power Exhibition and Conference (EGO Pakistan 2012) concluded on Thursday at Lahore Expo Centre organised by FAKT Exhibitions Private Limited. Participants from more than 100 exhibitors, ranging from major global suppliers to regional agents and distributors of building and construction sector attended the event.
The exhibition displayed state-of-the-art equipment and machinery related to oil, gas and energy sectors. Participating states included China, Germany, USA, Italy, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Canada and Pakistan showcased their technological advancements to the high profile trade visitors. Moreover, the show featured exclusive pavilions for China and Germany in which various companies marketed their technological advancements.
Inaugurating the conference on ‘energize Pakistan’, Private Power Infrastructure Board Managing Director NA Zuberi stated that energy sector should be given priority over fertilizer industry for producing cheaper electricity to reduce power shortage and get rid of load shedding in the country. FAKT Group Chief Executive Officer Saleem Khan Tanoli said, “FAKT Group is founded with the principal objective of building bridges among Pakistan and international countries by promoting commerce, trade and business through its corporate exhibitions and conferences.” He also said that FAKT recognises the need of trade and commerce among different industrial sectors and therefore it has planned to organise nine events including five new events. He also told media that the company has been successfully organising IGATEX- The Regional Largest Textile Exhibition, 3P- Plastic, Printing and Packaging and F+T- Food + Technology Build Pakistan, Safety, Security and Rescue and Pakistan Machine Tools and Machinery exhibitions and conferences.
