LAHORE: Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday fixed September 20 for arguments on a petition challenging removal of a U-turn near General Hospital. The U-turn had been removed for the construction of Metro Bus Service project (MBS).

The petitioner’s counsel, Nasir Shehzad, said the Punjab government removed the U-turn from in front of the hospital and made another at a distance of more than four kilometres. “This would cause great inconvenience to ambulances, as they would have to take a long detour to reach the hospital,” Shehzad said, adding that this could risk lives of patients.Source: http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2012\09\13\story_13-9-2012_pg13_4
