ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority will start providing additional 5 million gallons of water in different sectors of Islamabad.
According to details CDA has decided to provide 5 million gallons additional water, from 14th August to different sectors of Islamabad in the wake of recent monsoon rains.
The recent rains have raised the water level in dams by 13 feet, and water related complaints in the city are down to 600 from 1400.
Director General of Water Management wing CDA Sanaullah Aman said that monsoon rains have raised the water level in Simli dam by 10 feet and 3 feet in Khanpur dam.
After which different sectors of Islamabad will be provide 1 million gallon from Simli dam and 2 million gallons from Khanpur dam and tube wells respectively would be providing capital city with additional 5 million gallons of water.
