CDA meeting reviews uplift activities

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Farkhand Iqbal has directed the concerned formations of the authority to expedite the pace of upgradation, maintenance, repair and cleanliness work initiated more than three months back in the federal capital to ensure quality civic facilities to its residents.

Addressing officers of different wings of the civic body on Tuesday to review the ongoing development activities, the CDA chairman urged the concerned formations of the authority to ensure timely completion of the ongoing development work in different areas of sector F-6, F-7, F-8, G-6, G-9, G-10, G-11 I-8 and Blue Area, which he ordered during his visits to respective sectors.

The CDA chairman said that his visit to different marakiz of the city were fruitful and effective as the traders community is cooperating in the development of these marakiz and small markets and supporting the authority.

He directed the concerned formations to pay heed to the development activities in G and I series sectors, especially in small markets and business centres as these areas have been neglected by the successive regimes in the past.
