LDA seals two restaurants

Staff of the Recovery Directorate of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed two restaurants at M. M. Aalam Road, Gulberg, on Friday on account of their failure to pay the annual commercialisation fee to LDA since 2008. According to a LDA’s spokesperson, the two restaurants had been defaulters of Rs 4 million and Rs 2.5 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, the LDA has notified new Ramazan timing. The LDA’s One Window Cell will serve the public from 8am to 12noon daily during the holy month of Ramazan. Moreover, in pursuance to the Punjab government notification, the office of LDA will observe the notified office timings and remain open from 7am to 1pm from Monday to Thursday and from 7am to 12noon on Friday and Saturday. In a separate notification, LDA Director General Ahad Khan Cheema ordered postings of three Assistant Directors of LDA.
