LAHORE, June 7: Lahore Development Authority Director-General Ahad Khan Cheema on Thursday issued transfer orders for seven officials, including four directors, in order to improve performance of various LDA wings/directorates.
According to a press release, Tanveer Ahmad Warraich, director (Land Development-I), has been transferred and posted as director (Estate Management-II).
Muhammad Imran Raza, director (Land Development-II), has been transferred and posted as director (Land Development-I) vice Tanveer Ahmad Warraich.
Upon joining LDA on deputation, Liaquat Ali Randhawa has been posted as director (Land Development-II) vice Muhammad Imran Raza.
The DG appointed Director (Inspection & Evaluation) Jamshed Siddiqui as representative of LDA at Public Cell situated at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office, Minar-i-Pakistan, Lahore.
Muhammad Zubair Khan (estate officer) has also been transferred and posted at Directorate of Land Development-III, LDA as assistant director.
He visited various union councils of Samanabad and Sikandria colony and asked citizens about the performance of anti-polio teams. He personally knocked the doors of houses and persuaded the people to get their children vaccinated.
The DCO visited the CDGL bus terminal and suspended Muhammad Akram (terminal in-charge) for not coordinating with the polio teams working there. He directed the administration to ensure administering polio drops to children travelling with their parents/guardians in order to achieve 100 per cent target.
SEWERAGE: DCO Mengal took notice of poor sewerage at Johar Town (Sector G-I) and directed Wasa to repair the system of sewers.
He also directed Wasa officials to submit report after completing the work. — S
