Prime lands selected for Ashiana schemes: CM

CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said prime lands have been selected for Ashiana housing schemes in the cities across the province so that the residents could live peacefully and honourably.

He was presiding over a meeting on Ashiana housing project in his camp office at Minar-e-Pakistan here on Thursday.

The CM said that like Danish schools, Ashiana scheme was important as it had realised the dream of the common man to have his own house. He said Ashiana housing scheme was unique regarding its design and standard of construction and even better facilities than the housing societies of the elite had been provided in the scheme.

Punjab Land Development Company Chairman Sheikh Allauddin, the Planning & Development chairman, secretary Housing, secretary Finance, chief executive officer PLDC, commissioner and district coordination officer Lahore were also present.
