These properties include 1000-kanal commercial land adjacent to Expo Centre, Lahore; four-kanal Minister Block Building, Lahore; 73-kanal food department warehouse in Gulberg, Lahore; 33-kanal food warehouse in Badami Bagh; 33-kanal land on Ferozepur Road near Rescue-1122 office; three-kanal land on Queens Road; 59-kanal Rest House Building in Sarghoda; 59-kanal cattle field/farm in Nankana Sahib; 37-kanal land near Fowara Chowk in Rawalpindi; eight-kanal former Alliance Mills in Jhelum; nine-kanal tehsildar`s residence in Attock; 50-kanal land near Lorry Adda in Faisalabad; 14-kanal land near Lorry Adda in Faisalabad; 1-kanal and 12 marla former primary school in Sarghoda; 25-kanal food warehouse in Sarghoda, 520-kanal land in Fareed Town, Sahiwal; 11-kanal food warehouse in Rahim Yar Khan; 15-kanal land near hockey stadium in Sialkot; 48-kanal land in Dera Ghazi Khan city and 30-kanal land in DG Khan.

Besides, there were 1,025 small urban and rural properties worth Rs25 billion that had yet to be auctioned off, the official said. He said: “The prevailing situation in the country was the main hurdle in the sale of these properties”.

About the 1,000-kanal land near the Expo Centre, the official said: “As we couldn`t sell it through open auction, it has been decided now to convert it into plots of 50 to 100 kanals each and sell it.”
