Sattar lodged an FIR (45/11) against land mafia members for allegedly encroaching 25 acres of government land at Mochko and also developed an illegal housing society in the name of Gulshan-e-Rehman.

The SSP said on this complaint an AEC team conducted a raid and recovered 25 acres of government land from the possession of land mafia. Three associates of the land mafia group, Sikander Brohi, Haji Fazalur Rehman and Ameer Hayat have been arrested. Further investigation was underway. staff report

ISLAMABAD: Executive Committee of the National Economic Council met under the chair of Federal Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and approved seven projects worth 85.3 billion.

The Central Development Working Party had recommended the projects for consideration and approval while ECNEC also cleared Rs 13 billion Islamabad Safe City Project. Continue reading
