lahore: LDA approves deficit budget

LAHORE: The governing body of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday approved the annual budget of the authority and its subsidiaries, Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) and the Traffic Engineering and Planning Agency (Tepa), for the 2011-12 fiscal year.

The collective resources of LDA, Wasa and Tepa have been estimated at Rs20.101 billion against Rs22.376 billion expected expenditures, including Rs14.77 billion earmarked for development works. Continue reading

Islamabad: Date extended on demand of overseas Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD: Spokesman for CDA Ramzan Sajid told Daily Times that CDA will be able to regain the trust of the investors through this project. He said if no one would apply for the project still CDA management had decided to complete it in one year. He said the development cost of the project was almost Rs 1.25 billion and CDA have already got commitments of Rs 5 billion. Continue reading
